Astragraphia Xprins Indonesia Focuses on Developing a Three-Dimensional Printing Business Ecosystem in Indonesia

Today, PT Astragraphia Xprins Indonesia (AXI), a subsidiary of PT Astragraphia Tbk (Astragraphia), officially introduced the three-dimensional printing (3D printing) business ecosystem through a launch event and talk show entitled "Bring Creativity into Reality," which was held at the XXI Lounge, Plaza Senayan. As the latest business initiative, AXI focuses on developing 3D printing market opportunities in Indonesia through collaboration with various stakeholders, such as 3D printing service providers, dealers, 3D designers and contributors, MSME communities, and educational and government institutions.

K. Teguh Santoso, Director of PT Astragraphia Xprins Indonesia, said, "AXI is optimistic that the new 3D printing business can be an opportunity to provide added value to customers in order to realize sustainable growth. Today, we introduce and present various collaboration partners as a sign of our readiness to strengthen the 3D printing business ecosystem that AXI has formed. "We hope that this collaboration will generate enthusiasm among parties to create a larger 3D printing market that will benefit all levels of society, including the personal, commercial, and industrial sectors."

The launch event and talkshow of AXI's 3D printing business ecosystem, entitled "Bring Creativity into Reality,"  presented three speakers, namely Syaifullah, M.Ec., Ph.D., as Director of Applications, Games, TV, and Radio of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Erick Rudolf as Chairman of the Indonesian Tri-Dimensional Printer Association, and James Mak as Owner of the Zaiku 3D Printing Machine Dealer.

Syaifullah, SE, M.Ec., Ph.D., Director of Applications, Games, TV, and Radio of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, said, "I see 3D printing as a solution for MSME players engaged in the creative industry, where this technology is able to support the process of product or work innovation quickly and at a more efficient cost. 3D printing technology and applications are able to realize the ideas and creativity of various business actors in the creative industry sub-sector, such as games, films, crafts, culinary, and architecture. Of course, this is in line with the series of long-term work programs of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which encourage the domestic creative economy, increase its contribution to the national economy, and create job opportunities. "I fully appreciate and support AXI's efforts to activate the 3D printing market in Indonesia, and I hope the 3D printing industry can contribute to advancing the national creative economy ecosystem."

Product and business innovation can be developed through 3D printing technology, which can encourage MSMEs to be promoted. The application of 3D printing will be able to become a positive trend for creative industry players, supported by the synergy and encouragement between MSMEs and associations, organizations, and communities that are passionate about the practical use of 3D printing.

Erick Rudolf, Chairman of the Indonesian Tri Dimension Printer Association, said, "3D printing or additive manufacturing is the process of making physical objects from 3D models, generally by printing layer by layer using special printing materials according to the type of 3D printer used." Seeing the wide application of 3D printing, we want to raise awareness and encourage more 3D printing activities in Indonesia, although currently 3D printing education activities are still minimal. Therefore, we welcome AXI's involvement in developing the 3D printing business in Indonesia as a whole. "Not only in terms of marketing, but we hope that AXI can also be actively involved in educating the public at large so that the business ecosystem that AXI has formed can have a positive impact on the 3D printing market in Indonesia."
